Vibrations quicken, consciousness shifts, and noise fills the stillness. Humanity is on the move. Global forums convene; governmental agencies open, corporate offices hum with undercurrents of economic power. Small businesses, schools, hospitals, and factories prepare for daily work. Farmers have already tended the animals and begun projects in the fields.
Ambition, the ungracious motivator of humankind, exerts evolutionary control over human activity.
Somewhere, in this land of brilliant light, there are human beings with a simpler agenda. Sitting in quiet repose and offering gratitude for the unique gift of this new day. In silent obeisance to all of life, they acknowledge Love as the substratum of Light, and say aloud an ancient prayer.

“O Thou Who givest sustenance to the Universe.
From Whom all things proceed,
And to Whom all things return,
Unveil to us the face of the true Spiritual Sun,
Hidden by a disk of golden light,
That we may know the truth,
And do our whole duty
As we journey to Thy Sacred Feet.”
This is not a prayer of salvation; this is a sacred learning moment leading to an angelic grasp of whole duty as pure Joy.
With any learning experience, there is the banishment of fear and the embrace of courage. First day in a classroom, first week at college, first new job, and first big promotion are rehearsals for life’s more trying, and more rewarding, challenges: the conversion of desire into Love; and the steady transmutation of selfish wants into selfless giving.

When we detach from our likes and dislikes, we begin a process of shedding. The accumulation of frailties and faults that erected a selfish wall of separation, which locks an individual into an insecure state of self-absorption, begins to collapse. We see with new eyes and Living Soul steps into the void with an earned opportunity to create anew.
Observation is next. Observing, free of judgement, thoughts, feelings, and reactions reveals the underlying prejudices and criticisms motivating any spiel of divisiveness. Personal motives are the impetus of expression in body, word, and deed. Hidden motives, brought into Soul Light, can be cleansed, changed, upgraded.

All planetary others: humans, plants, animals, trees, deserts, mountains, grasslands, and oceans. Each and all are in possession of the gift of life for a purpose. Don’t diminish or deny fulfillment through your own short-sightedness or ignorance.
These three qualities of the DOC technique will satisfy the ancient admonishment; and place you under the protective umbrella of “Physician, heal thyself”. Free of earthly fear and filled with an ever-expanding Light.
Their use will purge selfishness from your body, heart, and mind.
Their daily practice will transform your life.
Their mastery will bathe your whole being in selflessness and reveal a new-born consciousness committed to serving the great plan of Divinity.
Creative service with and for others, for the benefit of the Whole, will become the very definition of continuity of life.
