When Life flips your world upside down, look to others. When facing uncertainty, seek out protection in groups. Survival lies within groups. The larger the group, the greater the implied security. This is the tribal instinct that first gathered humans into families, villages, communities, and eventually cities and nations.
In today’s chaotic modernity of accelerated global interconnectedness, individual pushbutton lifestyles easily crash to earth with a flick of a switch. Spontaneously and en masse, we tend to revert to this ancient instinctual need for survival by seeking out groups who also feel exposed and threatened. This creates the appearance that Humanity has not journeyed very far on the long road from apathy to empathy.
In the Garden of Gethsame when Christ spoke the words “Not my will, but Thine be done” an unusual Light Supernal shone upon the pathway forward for all mankind. In the two thousand plus years since this loving utterance, we have made many mistakes and revealed the depths of our pride and ignorance; yet, we have also traveled further upon the road towards empathy.
The wide and diverse consciousness of Humanity has historically been an unbalanced and imperfect mix of two streams of Divinity: feminine and masculine. Every life form is a unique blend of these essential life energies. Within the animal kingdom, physical survival demanded the dominance of the masculine principle. As humankind slowly progressed towards the plane of intellect, this instinctual level lost some of its relevance.
As humans began to think and imagine, rather than react to their earthly environment, artwork appeared on cave walls. Papyrus scrolls eventually led to books. Unusual, created colors became breath-taking paintings; and earth’s raw elements were lovingly transformed into sensual objects of art and jewelry. Sculpted masterpieces depicting man’s interpretation of life soon followed.
Great Gothic structures became warehouses of intellectual thought. Religions flourished as both a force of evolution and man’s feeble attempt to control the masses. Yet, through the centuries, more and more people began to seek out independent thought. The ancient herd instinct was being replaced with an appreciation of individual intellect and independent thought.
Human rights, human freedom, and human self-absorption led to breakthroughs in mathematics, science, academia, medicine, and economics. Still, humanity paid the price of too much will and too little love. Endless wars, unchecked violence, racial hatreds, and the world-wide domination of women left dark, ugly stains on the passing eras.
In subsequent generations, women slowly began to view themselves within a different light other than as mere baby machines. They became vessels of creative possibilities with untold capacities and skills that were slowly being unleashed in all areas of society. The world’s children began to be recognized as complete people bringing in their own innovative generational influences.
The global community of man was beginning a collective march on the arduous road leading from apathy to empathy. The Divine principles of masculine and feminine began to express a new river of hope by encouraging the merging, co-mingling, and ultimate blending of human will and human love into one, unified, whole Humanity.
In the last century, when a women’s vote became reality, an angry backlash exploded in a torrent of raging tribal instinct and white males rushed to defend all centers of societal power. Extreme reactions were fueled by an imagined horror of female participation. Reactive violence followed propelled by fear of losing control. These two forces quickly became the twin columns barring female entry into the male dominated world of economic freedom. Still, the natural momentum of evolution could not be stopped; and change became the energetic lifeblood of humanity’s continuing progress towards unity.
A third level of consciousness began to sporadically appear in public light: intuition. Men and women alike began to perceive a wider, more inclusive, avenue of spirituality. The limiting religious doctrines of earlier times were too confining for the evolving human heart and mind.
When HP Blavatsky spoke the words, “Truth is the only religion” people noticed and wondered. Emily Dickinson followed by writing the words, “Hope is the thing with feathers – That perches in the soul.” My grandmother became a cosmic time-traveler between the Christ and Buddha thereby opening my eyes to the land on the distant horizon, where Love reigns supreme. People all over the world were beginning to awaken to the power of the feminine principle.
Throughout human history, and throughout the living sustenance of Cosmos, there has always been a unified chorus of vision and hope and faith seeking a more perfect union between Life and Humanity. Underlying the great chaotic sweep of humanity’s movement towards union is a Hierarchy of loving grace and intentional purpose.
These Great Beings have been with humankind since the beginning guiding and sustaining the living light of Divinity throughout the many sorrows and travails of mortal existence. Whether we call them Rishis, Blessed Saints, Avatars, Masters, or by any other name matters not. Their names are irrelevant to the guiding principle underlying their sacrificial work wholly on behalf of Humanity. They work in dedicated silent unison for the benefit of all in the name of Divine Love, the feminine principle.
Today, Humanity is approaching the wide, open doorway of a collective spiritual upliftment which offers the hope and holds the promise of global transformation through unification, sacrifice, and equitable distribution. Humankind has journeyed far on the road from apathy to empathy; and is beginning to recognize the enduring rewards of practical goodwill, genuine inclusiveness, and authentic cooperation.
A grassroots willingness to share and to listen is evolving into public consciousness, because of the many global meditative groups, a sacred community of souls, who have long supported the deeply esoteric work of the Hierarchy. Often at great cost and personal sacrifice, these groups are unified organically by intention, purpose, and love of Humanity.
This subjective global alliance of spiritual and human energies has created an open channel for distributing the ideas and ideals which will govern the approaching new age. Today, in human societies the public is responding by coalescing behind receptive and visionary leaders.
Witness the recent British elections in which a tireless human rights attorney became Prime Minister of the United Kingdom by representing Labor Unions. Public service, integrity, and honesty are the standards by which he will frame his decisions. This is inclusion and goodwill at work in human life.
In America, remember the words of the sitting President when he first announced his run for the oval office in 2019: “I am running to save the Soul of our Nation.” This is the pouring forth of sacred soul light from the spiritual into the human world. This was the galvanizing force that led to the objectified restoration of dignity, ethics, and service within the oval office.
In 2024, this same president handed the renewed light of democracy to his Vice-President when he ended his run for a second term. In a selfless act of love for all humanity, he whole heartedly supported Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States. Joseph R Biden sees clearly what is at stake for the entire world. He became a truly transformational President, because he is essentially an empathetic human being who intuitively understands the meaning of sacrifice, the necessity of service, and the living light of Soul.
Within 24 hours of his announcement, NATO, the EU, and other global partners experienced a collective lightness of being and a resurgence of faith that American democracy would endure and the world-wide alliances against the dark forces of dictatorship would continue to thrive.
Within 48 hours, fifty-eight thousand new volunteers joined the Kamala Harris campaign, 100 million dollars was raised, forty-thousand new voters signed up, and massive Zoom calls with tens of thousands of women and men were taking place across the entire country. An apathetic America was suddenly awake and energized by the new possibilities for democracy.
None of these remarkable events would have found the light of public day without the deep reservoir of accumulated work by Hierarchy and the dedication of the community of souls, who support these world-wide efforts through meditation, service, and adherence to the universal values which are emerging as tomorrow’s reality. This is the formidable, loving power of the feminine principle in action – stepping forward into the breach; bringing healing, balance, and the creativity of hope to the human condition. Another step on the long road towards empathy.
Direction is the golden key which has unleashed the feminine principle within so many human beings. Life is forwards, not backwards. Evolution is upwards, not downwards.
Compassion, inclusion, goodwill and truth are the living streams of energy which are carving and creating a human river of empathy that is rushing into a unifying human race. This is tomorrow’s more perfect union of masculine and feminine principles. Open groups which welcome peoples from all corners of the world. A global inclusive We that recognizes One Humanity. A united We that joyously shares one planet.
When this future day dawns on our planet, Humanity will have conquered the long and arduous road from apathy to empathy. Then, the entire human race can stand shoulder to shoulder with Those Great Beings Who have gone before us and have already arrived at that land on the distant horizon where Love reigns supreme.
